Is it just me, or does it seem the holidays come and go very quickly? either that or does it feel they come earlier each year?
I find myself listening to christmas music as I type this up, like I always do this time of year. Ever time the holidays roll around I listen to christmas music about mid november..sometimes earlier..to get in the mood for the holidays. The best part of the holidays that I get to look forward to is the good food and of course the decorating. This year my family and I have put of christmas decorations a little earlier then usual. So far we've put out our display of christmas lights that we put out every year and have already put up our christmas year (which has yet to be decorated might I add). Speaking of christmas displays, my roommates and I (at school) have decided to put up our own christmas display which is sounding fun!
Though we decorate the tree with ornaments my parents have and ones I've made in the past, I've been thinking of making some new ones..perhaps some snowflakes out of beads, ect. If you have any ideas of ones I could make let me know. I almost forgot, my favorite holiday tradition of all is the baking. I love to bake all the awesome goodies that not only I get to eat but others get to enjoy as well. This year I will be giving my friends some christmas goodies as presents. Those are some of the holiday traditions that my family and I have. What are the holiday traditions (christmas, hannakuha, or other holiday) that you have? Are there any in particular that you and your family share? I am interested in finding out what you guys typically do during the holidays. Feel free to share but if you don't wish to share that is fine too.
Happy Holidays everyone!
